StruXure Commits to Eliminating Printed Manuals with BILT
The move will save more than $600,000 in annual printing costs.
Dahlonega, GA, May 18, 2023 – StruXure, the designer and manufacturer of louvered pergolas and cabanas, is investing in eco-friendly digital work instructions to enhance and simplify installation. The company is partnering with the 3D BILT app to provide an interactive set-up experience which will conserve a small forest of trees and more than 14,400 pounds of paper per year. The move will save more than $600,000 in annual printing costs.

Paper production has many ill effects on the planet besides deforestation. It uses enormous amounts of energy and is one of the major contributors to water and air pollution. Up to 80 percent of unrecycled paper ends up in landfills, accounting for more than a quarter of total municipal waste. Its decomposition produces methane, a greenhouse gas with 21 times the heat-trapping power of carbon dioxide.
In 2022, companies in the AZEK portfolio diverted 500 million pounds of waste and scrap from landfills–the equivalent tonnage of 25 Eiffel Towers.
