BILT has been named the Series B & Beyond Startup of the Year by Venture Dallas, standing out among a record-breaking field of 140 nominated companies—the strongest applicant pool in the event’s history. The recognition highlights BILT’s continued leadership in 3D Intelligent Instructions and its expanding impact across commercial, government, and federal sectors.
The Venture Dallas awards, held at the George W. Bush Institute, divided nominees into seed, Series A, and Series B & Beyond categories. Judges narrowed contenders to 18 finalists, and students from the University of Texas at Dallas prepared deal memos that informed the final selection. BILT rose to the top as the unanimous winner in its category, emphasizing the company’s sustained innovation, operational excellence, and market readiness.

Dallas Innovates highlights BILT’s journey from its origins in solving everyday consumer frustrations with paper instructions to becoming a transformative enterprise-scale platform. Today, BILT partners with hundreds of brands to deliver interactive guidance for assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair through mobile, desktop, and spatial computing devices, including Apple Vision Pro. The platform is increasingly used by professional technicians and is making significant strides in the federal sector—most notably through a $15M STRATFI contract that advances BILT’s deployment within the U.S. Air Force.
BILT’s recent addition of CTO Mitch Dawson further positions the company for accelerated AI-driven innovation, reinforcing its “Instructions as a Service” model and supporting the scalability and security required for enterprise and government adoption.
This unanimous Venture Dallas win underscores BILT’s role as a North Texas technology leader—one shaping the future of guided work, digital transformation, and operational enablement across industries.
