BILT Named to List of World’s Most Innovative Companies

3D mobile instruction app ranks in top trends of 2024

GRAPEVINE, TX, March 20, 2024 – BILT, the leader in 3D interactive instructions, is at the top of Fast Company’s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. BILT creates and delivers instructions via mobile app for thousands of products from hundreds of brands. Millions of consumers and professional technicians use BILT to assemble, install, maintain, and repair products each year. The app is available worldwide in 12 languages.

“We’re blazing the trail to help solve the world labor shortage,” says BILT Chairman & CEO Nate Henderson. “Innovation is critical to addressing the crisis in upskilling a new generation of professional trades technicians.”

The BILT mobile platform ranked ninth among the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the extended reality (XR) sector. Fast Company’s editors and writers evaluated thousands of submissions, from early-stage startups to some of the most valuable companies in the world. Applications were submitted late last year, months before the company’s newest offering, BILT for Apple Vision Pro, was released February 2.

The new immersive, XR version of BILT provides an even more futuristic solution for guided work. BILT XR redefines the user experience for training and operational enablement across various industries. The platform is an entire ecosystem, allowing a seamless transition across devices from the classroom to the work site.

A survey of training professionals indicates XR technology provides a significant edge in recruiting and retaining top talent. More than 80 percent of respondents said XR training increases user confidence and cultivates muscle memory. Studies show BILT mobile users are 55% faster at completing tasks than those using paper manuals. Experts say XR training will catalyze competency even further.

“It’s an honor to be recognized among companies revolutionizing their industries,” says BILT President & COO Ahmed Qureshi. “The applications for 3D instructions across manufacturing, aviation, transportation, medical, defense, and energy sectors are endless.”
