  • How easy is it to get started with BILT?

    All we need is a sample product sent to our Global Brand Support Center for assembly
    analysis, CAD files, and we will have your BILT Instructions ready for your consumers!
    We provide you with marketing assets for packaging, inserts, assembly instruction call-
    outs, and online assets for your website and retailers upon request.

  • What am I receiving with BILT?

    You are receiving BILT 3D Intelligent Instructions with product analytics, NPS scores, assembly time, reviews, online assets and much more.

  • How long is the BILT process?

    Your product launch date will depend on how many brands are ahead of you and how quickly you can send us a sample product with CAD. We like to have your products complete in a few days, but depending on complexities or size, it can take as long as 1-3 weeks.

  • What is the cost?

    BILT has a simple fee associated with each SKU. You pay 1x per product, send us a sample product for assembly analysis and the product CAD.

  • How do I inform my customers about BILT instructions?

    The best way is to simply place an insert into your current paper instructions. We have a guide with sample messaging for your website and package inserts that you will receive once you sign up for BILT. We can also create a free video based on the BILT instructions that you can put on YouTube and your website. You can see some samples on our YouTube channel.

    We want to make it as easy as possible to spread the word, so we will work together with you to ensure success.

  • Can customers use BILT on the company website?

    No, BILT is a stand-alone application for mobile devices. For your consumer, one of BILT’s most useful features is the ability to interact with the product instructions through touch by rotating the product at whatever angle they need. This level of interaction is only achievable on mobile devices. BILT creates a consistently beautiful and user-friendly experience on phones and tablets.

  • Do I have to do all of my products at once or can I start small?

    You can start as small as you want. In fact, we encourage you to try it out with just a single product. Once you see what a revolutionary experience BILT creates for your customer, we’re confident that you’ll sign up for more!

  • Is there an implementation or installation process?

    BILT is wonderfully simple. There is no IT implementation or integration. All you do is provide us with your product information and we will create the instructions that go into BILT. We will review what we have created with you to make sure it’s an amazing experience.

  • Are there any technical dependencies?

    No. In fact, most of our customers are marketing executives since IT does not need to be involved at all.

  • I’m already creating YouTube videos!

    Great! Some customers even put their “how to” videos in BILT also. Unlike BILT instructions, YouTube videos cannot easily be updated and they are not interactive. So, while a video may give a great intro to your product, BILT can step in as a personal coach to guide your consumer throughout the installation process. If you want to continue to have videos on YouTube, we can make one for you for free based on the BILT instructions we make.

  • What CAD does BILT need to begin?

    BILT can use +100 types of CAD, but we prefer .stp or STEP file format.
